 The Hongxinglong Seed Co.Ltd of Heilongjiang Beidahuang Group，established in June 1st ,2001,is a trans-area,trans-industry modern seed group incorporated with Hongxinglong Science reseach institute ,Hongxinglong Seed Company and its'12 sub-seed companies.it is a integrate totally178 different level techinicians now,including 5specialists,28 senior agronomists,102 middle level technicians and 1 Dr and 5 master degrees of them.The Hongxinglong Seed Co.LTD has 13 sub-seed companies,96 saling agencies,1 seed inspect center,12 seed test offices and 6 crop breedinng sections with the registered capital of 50,18 million RMB.it covers 14000 ha of seed producton base and owns 10 sets of modern seed processing factories with the capabilit annually of more than 6000 tons. During 2000-2001,the company was confirmed as seed producing base of the high quality original seed,special wheat,high protein soybean,10000mu original rice seed by the Statue Agricultural Comprehensive Development Office,Agriculture Ministry and State plan Committee,respectively.in 2001,the seed trading license given by State Agriculture Ministtry and it was awarded the title of 《provincial advanced unit in science and technology》by the Heilongjiang province government and the title of 《national spread and demonstration base of agriculture science and technology》by the Chinese Agriculture Academic society.

Hongxinglong Research Institute as a main part of the group,established in 1959,was the earliest integrated research unit in Heilongjiang state farms and has successfully undertook more than 500 different level tasks assigned by the State Agriculture Ministry,provincial government and the General Bureau of State Farm.55 new varieties have been licensed and more than 240 sciences and research achievemants abtained, 170 various class science and technology prizes awarded with over 3 illion RMB of society and economic benefits.It won the 100-leeading unit of 1132 agriculture research institutes nationally.The unit was a warded the 《Advanced unity》given by national science and technology conference in 1978,the 《 third prize of promoted economic 》and 《provincial civilization unit》by provincial government in 1992 and 2001,respectively.
